8 month old wavy coat

I remember comparing wavy coats with a few of you months ago and thought I'd show an updated picture - we LOVE Griffin's fluff!  At first I was disappointed he didn't get really curly but now I wouldn't have him any other way and think he's the cutest - cross between a sheep (his legs) and a polar bear (feet) and just a curly floppy mess everywhere else :-)

Oh and I love to spike up the hair on the top of his head lol!

Freak'n adorable! In fact, our 4 month old, looks very much like Griffin now. I too love the wavy coat and spikey hair mop. Wish I had a quarter for every person who asked me if I did something special to make it that way! ;). We call it "bed head". ;)

We get compliments on Griffin every time we walk him in public.  My brother tells me he looks like an escaped muppet :-)

He has a beautiful coat! Is he getting his adult coat now and does he shed?

I think this is his adult coat now and yes he sheds.  Oddly, I find it only rarely on my clothes or furniture. It usually is in little "clouds" floating around on my hardwood floors.  I guess that counts as "low shed"?

Oh yeah. Finn's a wavy boy too. 9 months, 57 lbs. he's a big wavy fluff ball with ginormous polar bear paws.

Oh gosh look at his face!!!  And wow has he grown! I love how they can look soooo serious and then like a total goof the next second :-)  Finn's got the same coloring as Griff - I love how their black noses, and around their eyes and mouths are so defined. I think it adds sooo much expression and character :-)

What a cutie! I was, too, disappointed when our second doodle, Auggie, did not have the curl in his hair. His hair was completely straight when we got him and then it got a little wave and he is sporting the shaggy look now. It's just so funny since I don't see him as the "curly" one, but just today at the dog park I heard at least a couple of people to greet Auggie with "Hi, curly baby!" And that just made me smile since he is definitely not curly, more shaggy like your guy. My older one has the poodle curl, but nobody can see it now since he just had a haircut.
