Advice needed! Will this puppy have a loose wavy coat when it ages?

You guys have been so helpful!!! Can tell me if you think her coat will remain loose waves or if it looks like she might get curly and look quite poodlish. Also, she is red now but will that probably fade?  She is an F1 (white english retriever and red poodle) as I am hoping to have the shorter faceframe and wavier look.  I need to make my decision tonight!

First of all- she is absolutely precious!!!

I don't think there is any true way to tell FOR SURE what the adult coat will be, but it looks to me like she will be a loose wave puppy at least. She looks similar to my Ragley's coat (check the pictures on my profile- I have weekly pics posted). She will likely fade a little from what I have experienced, but trust me, you will love her regardless. I get the concern for the looks because I was there not too long ago, but her personality is SO much more important. I am lucky enough that my personality desires happened to line up with a lot of what I wanted in the looks department, but Ragley's personality is what I love most and what other people love most about her. The lure of the teddy bear fluffy puppy quickly goes out the window if the personality is not what fits your lifestyle. Pick her if she is the puppy with the personality you want. If she starts to look like a poodle, its probably because that's a lot of what she is!

Yes you are absolutely correct!  I will love her no matter what! Unfortunately I will not get to meet her before hand as I am paying a lot to have her be hand delivered so she doesn't have to go in a plane.  Which is why I have spent ALOT of time researching breeders to make sure I am getting a healthy puppy that is breeder with Temperament in mind.

What a Cutie!  My Golden Doodle, Lilly, is a dark golden, almost 7 months now.  At 8 wks her hair was straight and seemed to have the hint of "eyebrows" and beard.  Check her out now.  The groomer first trimmed her at 5 months, esp around her eyes and feet.  She seems easier to groom than the wooly doods.  They are all CUTE!!  Hope this helps.

It really is such a crap shoot. Enzo's litter had at least 3 different type coats on the same litter.
Her coat is wavy like Enz's was/ is. But Enzo had much more facial hair at this point. I'm guessing she will lighten in color, as many of the darker colors do.
I agree...go with personality and what best matches your lifestyle . No matter what. It will be love at first sight!
She is adorable, by the way!
