Our MGD is almost 6 months on 2/3/2014. Anyway, he has not lost any of his baby canine teeth--the vet seemed to think this was abnormal. I would like to hear others thoughts?

I'm not sure what's normal/abnormal, but our GD is 7 months and he lost the majority of his teeth between 3.5-6 months. I think his last two teeth fell out in early December.
My vet told me that some people wait until 6 mos to have their pups spayed so that if any baby teeth haven't fallen out yet, (and are preventing the adults from coming in) they can be pulled. Our pup is 5 months and she just lost the last baby tooth last week (which WAS a canine tooth). Hope that helps a little.
Our Standard GD started losing her baby teeth around 4 months .
I have heard of puppies adult teeth breaking through without ever losing the first set. The puppy teeth then need to be extracted.
What did your Vet suggest?
Our Island Mini Doodle had 4 baby teeth removed at the time of her spaying. Common in smaller dogs they sometimes hang on to their baby teeth.
