Zuda, our 8 week puppy LOVES very soft small toys.  She has a plushy raccoon that she loves, as well as a twisted rope that is soft that she is drawn to.  Make sure also you get her a Kong.  We put string cheese pieces in it when she goes to bed in her crate and she works on that for a long time as she is going to sleep.

The first toy I got for Archie-- he ws 8 weeks-- was a soft, plush toy, that squeaked. He LOVED it!  Archie was 14 weeks today, and he still loves that toy, but he loves anything that squeaks, or that he can chew with abandon-- like an antler. I live by the beach, and he is constantly dragging home "treasures" like drift wood-- in his heart, he's Christopher Columbus. Discovering the New World! Love him.

For a new puppy, I always suggest getting a variety of different types of toys. That way you can figure out what your new pup loves. Walter (now 5 months) loves floppy no-stuffing animals, antlers and balls. He doesn't have much use for kongs.

Another tip, I always buy the holiday clearance toys. Lol yes my two dogs are currently still playing with Christmas, Halloween and valentines day toys. I got them all for like $1 each!!!

My Coco's favorite toy (she's 14 weeks now) is an empty water bottle and this squeaky ball/rope toy from Kong -
