Can anyone recommend a mini goldenpoodle breeder in or near the NorthEast...live in Commack, NY

Does anyone know a reliable/responsible breeder who I may be able to go to in/near the NorthEast to purchase a mini/petite goldendoodle?   My family and I are looking to own one, especially after what we've read and learned about them.  I haven't had any luck finding any breeders close to Long Island,New York.  I found the cutest little mini goldendoodle via "Americas Top Breeders"...http://www.purebredbreeders.com/puppy/, however, I'm a little leary/skeptical dealing with a broker, not to mention the breeders located in South Carolina.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Howard!  I don't know of any mini-goldendoodle breeders around here.  (I'm in Smithtown!), but I do know that many of us have used breeders that were not near our home towns and the dogs were fine!  (I do know of someone VERY trustworthy a bit further south.  You can message me and I will let you know their information.  Good luck in your search!  But you have found us, so half your work is done!  Good luck!

Hi Howard, I found our breeder - Forest Creek Kennels online. Her name is Syndi & she is located in Virginia...a bit far, but worth every mile. We made the trip twice, once to pick Casper out & then to go get him (and we did it with 3 little boys in the car!) and I would do it again. Casper is a SWEETHEART - honestly, he has the best personality I have ever seen in a dog! He is a full size, but I know she breeds mini's also. GOOD LUCK in your search!!
