Does anyone have some good tips to combat this?  Flynn is now tall enough (and smart enough) to realize that when he stands up he can rest his chin on our kitchen and island countertops.  We're learning to keep everything off that we can, but I don't want his chin up there, whether there's food up there or not.

Is there a good way to stop this, without having him on the leash indoors?  I'll take any tips, thanks.

Can plus coins. Shake when on counter. Worked after two times with our counter surfer. Just dont over use it and try to do it without the dog seeing u.

fill a spritz bottle with one part vinegar, 3 parts water.  When he jumps on the counter, spray him in the muzzle (try to avoid the eye area!).  We used to "set up" Axl with enticing things (like paper towels or the newspaper, his favorites) on the counter & spritz him when he jumped up.  We didn't even say anything to him like off or no.  He was just so surprised by the spray (and the icky smell of vinegar) that he rarely countersurfs anymore.
