Last week we were able to get Ollie very comfortable with the crate and was sleeping through the night from 10ish-5ish. It was WONDERFUL! Recently the past three nights Ollie has woken up at least twice a night, we let him out, put him back in the crate and he barks/whines/cries forever... The first night I was up 3x and he would eventually cry himself to sleep. The following night he was barking so loud from 3:45am-4:30am he woke up our daughters so I went downstairs and slept on the couch. Last night wasn't as terrible but we are concerned that we went from an easy crate transition to not as comfortable. When he is put in the crate for the first time bedtime he goes in quietly, sits on his Snuggle Pup, eats his treats and goes to sleep. Putting him in after going potty is less than wonderful. We need help or any suggestions. We are trying to keep him up during the evening after dinner in case he's sleeping too much during the early evening and just not tired. :(

Keep up what you are doing. When he gets up to go potty in the night - make sure he is the one who needs to go potty and that you aren't waking him up to go - don't really even talk to him, just take him out and back to the crate.
We are using a baby monitor so we are only getting
