Dog Beds

Mousse has been doing well with house training, hardly  any accidents for the past week.  I had bought him a bed when I first got him, and he peed on it several times so I threw it out (the cover didn't come off) and figured he just couldn't have one till he was trained.  Then I started leaving towels or a blanket down, and he's been fine, not peeing on those, so today I got him another bed, and within the first 15 min of having it, he peed on it!  Does anyone know why he does this?

Oooops...hope you didn't spend alot of money on the 2nd bed. Maybe he is telling you he doesn't want a bed. They normally won't pee where they sleep. Lucca used to eat his beds!!! Now he loves them

Boy that really is disappointing. Gavin humped his bed when he first got it at 12 weeks old. After a couple of corrections, he gave up on this behavior (thankfully). I never have seen him hump anything since.

Allie did the same thing. The bed did have a cover so I could clean it. Well then she started eating it. I finally gave up and threw it away. I waited a few months then tried again with one I bought at TJ Maxx. She loves it now. It might just be his age.

Well, I got the 2nd one from costco so I didn't spend a lot. I washed the cover and put it away for now. I'm hoping like, Allie, he'll grow out of it. I guess I'll try it again in a couple months.
