i'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but i was wondering if anyone ever bought Martha Stewart brand toys. They have a big clerance section on petsmart.com and I wanted to take advantage of it. What brands do you recommend?

I try to buy only made in USA toys. It is really not easy. I have looked but not bought any of her toys. I did buy her dog scissors though.

I've never seen any Martha Stewart toys.. maybe they're not sold in the UK?

I have to admit we just have run of the mill toys like kongs, which are amazing, and stuffed animals.  Wispa had a pheasant that honked (NOT squeeked!) when you squeezed it.. she only recently destroyed it :)

I'd be interested in knowing if you have found any toys that don't get gutted in one day. Bayley prefers plush toys with a squeaker, doesn't care for the solid rubber toys like the kong. She did have a kong rubba once and she ripped the fabric off to free the ball, and that toy looked virtually indestructible to me. The so called durable toys cost around 15 dollars and I've given up on spending that kind of money for a toy that's shredded in 24 hours. Our Big Lots store sells most dog toys for $3 including the AKC brand so I buy there and expect to throw them away every couple of days. I would pay more for a toy that would actually survive. Got any success stories?

I love the toy clearance section. Toys don't last very long in our house right now. Our 29wk old GD Finn's current way of playing with toys is to mutilate, shred and destroy them! :-)
