Hello, Rosie is about 5 months now and this week has started drooling a ton. She had an upset stomach earlier in the week, so I thought it was related, but her belly seems better but the drool is still there. It is bad enough that today when I got home from work I was questioning if she went pee in her crate.

She does not seem to have any issues in her mouth, she is eating and chewing on bones like normal. It does appear that she has a new lower canine tooth growing in (unless she broke on off).

Can teething cause excessive drooling? She isn't bearded so it isn't water stuck in her beard from drinking. She has some long hairs on her lower jaw and they are dripping wet.

I don't remember any drooling with teething, but perhaps I have forgotten.  If you have any concerns, I'd take her to the vet to make sure she doesn't have anything caught in her mouth or throat that makes swallowing difficult.

I've never known a dog to drool from teething. It seems very excessive- I'd take her to the vet. She might have broke a tooth, or her stomach might still be bothering her.

And, please keep us posted.

Thanks for the thoughts and the concern. I took Rosie to the vet on Friday afternoon. They did not see any injuries to her her mouth. They are not concerned about neurological issues. They think it is some nausea left over from her belly issues last week. I am not so sure, Rosie vomits about 50% of the time she rides in a car and has not had an issue all week. They gave her probiotics and anti-nausea medicine.
Friday evening before we started the medicine we noticed she was dry for the first time in a days. Though an hour later she was drooling again. We have her on the medicine and we are rarely seeing any drool. So hopefully that will continue when the medicine is down.

I hope you figure this out for her. Sending pawsitive wishes.
