Exercise advice

I'm hoping y'all can give me some advice...how much exercise is enough? I keep hearing that goldendoodles require "a lot" of exercise but how much is that? Finley is almost seven months and is a mini ( he will be about 25 lbs full grown, he's 19 lbs right now). He goes to daycare two to three days a week and is in his crate the other work days (I leave about 9am, come home for lunch and spend at least 45 minutes with him, and then I'm usually home by six. I usually try and get in a 3/4 mile walk at least once a day. He doesn't really like to fetch...he wants to spend all his time outside eating sticks (which he can't do). Is he getting enough exercise? If not, what else should I be doing with him? More/longer walks? We'll be able to do that in the fall but we live in Dallas and 3/4 of a mile is about as far as either of us can go in the 107 degree heat.

I've included a pic of a ginormous stick he found this weekend...he was in heaven (until I took it away after our mini photo shoot). ;0)

Hes so cute! Archie loves eating sticks too (and grass, and paper, and .....) I would say, if he seems like he needs more excerise then he probably does. If he seems fine, then he probably is. Every dog requires a different amount.  Our dog, is very high energy. If he does not get walks regularly, fetches, play, etc throughout the day, he goes around the house in full pysco mode and nips, growels, pounces (all in play, but still nuts).  Actually even if he gets OVER stimulated he acts nuts too. I think he does not know how to calm himself down yet, like a really tired kid who is super crabby because they are over tired =).  If your pup seems happy and is fine and not over weight or destroying things, then he is prob getting enough

He is soooo cute. Seems to me like he is getting enough however as Archie's mom said, every dog is different. Seems like you are doing a great job with him.
