Flea and Tick?

Our little guy was born yesterday!!  3 Boys to choose from (we have first pick) 2 that are a white color and one red!

So excited!!

We live near the beach and have LOTS of trees and bushes in the backyard and I've heard that fleas adn ticks are pretty challenging here.

Any suggestions?

I hear ya! I didn't even realize ticks were a problem where I live until I found one in my Golden's ear a couple years ago. And of course I started freaking out and watching her every move for symptoms of Lyme disease! Luckily, that one didn't cause any harm and I started protecting against them.

I'm not a big fan of the collars- let me know how it works out for you.

Wow! Lots of options. I thought someone on here has a terrible reaction with a Bayrr product? I'll have to look it up tomorrow when I'm on computer vs phone. I live in Va near the beach, I've heard fleas and ticks are really bad here.

We put on frontline and the next day (after a walk in the woods) Griffin had one tick walking on his back, which I flicked off, and one attached to his muzzle - dead. Pulled it off easily.  No more ticks since then.  Our vet did recommend the scalibor collar.  Not sure what I think of that - any one tried it?

Ew now my skin is crawling! I HATE ticks!!

My Finn is wearing the collar now. I just put it on today. I'll put Revolution on him on the 1st of May. My only concern about the collar is our one cat. They wrestle and I'm worried the cat will bite it or get it on his paws then lick them. The warnings on the box are scary! But the reviews were good.
