Grooming and a general update

Hey guys, 

 

I know there is a grooming forum, but I figured I'd share an update on Fenway and a new pic. Her bite injury healed up nicely (though it looks like she has booties now from where she was shaved) and her spay went well too. We are now free of the cone and I think you can see from her expression how happy that makes her (and me). 

 

Anyway, I just finished her first trim! I think it came out pretty well considering the last time I used clippers was quite a while ago. I just love the long fluffy head fur though, so I left that alone! Any grooming tips from the forum? She's got this wavy fur (very much like a curly-golden, not a golden-poodle). Looks great but she gets these weird wispy bits all over her. Also sheds like nobody's business. 

 

She's 31lbs at 5 months, but has hardly put any weight on in the last 3 weeks or so. We start intermediate class tonight.. last time we started class, she was like 14lbs and TINY compared to the others. Suspect she won't be so tiny now. Watch out, pitbulls!  :)

Fenway is very cute.  Reminds me quite a bit of my goldendoodle Lily.  You did a nice job on the trim.
