Henry went to the Vet yesterday.  Got wormed and a shot.  He had a yeast infection in his ear so we have to give him medicine for that for 10 days.  I feel so bad because his ear was all gunky, but it was deep in the ear.  I do this cleaner first once a day and then the med drops twice a day.  All this gunk is coming up and out now and it's so nasty.  Poor lil Henry.

He seemed a little blah last night and this morning, could that be from the worming medicine and shot? The vet thinks he'll be like 60 to 70 pounds, but he said he needs one more weight to gauge his growth rate.  Breeder had said 30 to 40, so I am curious to see how it ends up.  I am thinking like 50 to 55.  He was 11.5 pounds yesterday at the vet and was 9 weeks and 5 days.

Also, we are giving him one more week on Orijen.  We officially finished the transition and his stools have gotten more loose and are all soft and mushy now.  They were not like that at all before the Orijen so maybe it's not working with his belly.  I might try a high quality food that is not grain free?  I don't know, it's so confusing but he was on something called Sport Mix and that wasn't grain free and he was having great stools.  So, the vet said give him another week and see what happens and if it don't go away then try something different.  I was thinking maybe that Wellness, Blue Buffallo or Natural Balance I think it is.

We have 2 pups, both with yeast ear infections (one has it in the right, the other the left).  We went thru 2 prescriptions with no change.  We finally got it under control using the tea tree oil ear wash daily. Nasty stuff.
Ugh, that stinks!!!  Glad you got them under control.  Henry's is all cleared up but we have a couple days left to keep using the med.  I am gonna do what everyone else said and do the ear wash weekly to try and prevent it from happening again.  I do hope this isn't a recurring thing.
Zymox Otic is getting rave reviews and is apparently brilliant at treating either Yeast or bacterial ear infections.  I bought some to have it on hand.  You don't clean the ears out at all just put the drops in and from what I hear Voila!!!  I would definitely check it out.  It comes with or without 1.0% cortisone (which would relieve the itching)
I second Zymox... after paying for expensive vet treatments that cost more and take longer to work, Zymox will have ear infections cleared up in just a few days (although you should use for a week). I bought it on amazon, and found it was pretty reasonable, especially compared to vet meds!
Thanks!  This stuff sounds great!
