Jack is getting a little sister!

Next week this little cutie is coming home to us! Super excited and super nervous! Jack is 2 years old now. I'm hoping that they like will like other and will be close. We are thinking she is "Stella" but not 100% sure of her name. She is a mini that is predicted to be 25-35 pounds. Her momma was a mini doodle and dad a mini poodle so an F1B. Jack is a smaller standard F2B-both parents were golden doodles. He is around 55 pounds now.

She is adorable!  From the picture, Stella seems like a good fit name-wise.

I think she is adorable too! She just happened to come available from her litter and I saw the update on the breeders site so we called right away. I think she was the prettiest of the litter. We haven't seen her in person yet so I'm a little anxious to see her personality.

Oh how sweet. I have puppy fever really bad at the moment. I am always looking at puppies. Annabelle just turned a year old and I am thinking about this time next year will be a good time if I still want another. I would probably get a boy. Annabelle is an F1B mini doodle. Her mom is a 30lb mini golden doodle and her dad is a 11lb mini poodle. She was predicted to be 20-25lbs but quit growing at 14lbs. I really love the name Stella.

Our labradoodle Kate was 14 months when we got our pup Zoey.  Kate had stopped mouthing and jumping on people. Since the pup and she thinks she deserves all the attention we are now trying to stop the behaviors again.  She jumped on my 79 lbs mother-in-law the other day.  She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and doesn't mean to hurt.  She is great with the puppy and if anything the pup is hard on her.  Hopefully you dog is old enough that he won't exhibit these behaviors.  You will have a great time.  I have noticed the young dog learns from the older one and visa versa.  Have fun. Kate doesn't understand there is enough love to go around.
