Molly has an obsession with the cat's litter box. She is not actually interested in poop, but in the clean kitty litter and eating it. Moving the litter box really isn't an option, we had had past issues with the cat and this is the spot she likes and goes in with no accidents. I keep trying to teach a 'leave it' command but not having any luck yet. I end up then moving box and putting back when puppy is napping so cat can use. This isn't the best scenario. Is it too much to think a puppy will leave the box alone and I need to think about relocating it or is it possible for a 10w puppy to grasp concept. Thanks for any ideas.

I have the same problem. I put up a small gate and keep it tilted a little for the cats to be able to pass by but it keeps Callie out.  Funny not so funny story about this problem.  Before I solved her going in the litter box she was very sneaky and always got in it while I wasn't looking.  She gets car sick sometimes and one day when I was taking her to obedience class she got sick in my car.  She threw up on my center console and it smelled of cat poop.  Good thing I love her so much because I spent the next day cleaning out my car :)

One word.....ewwwwwwwww! Don't you wonder what in hell they are thinking???????
