Less than a week!!

In less than a week were getting our little Maggie and I'm so excited! The first time around when I picked Jace up from the breeders I had no idea what were the right questions to ask! Since this has been such a quick process I have only asked a few big questions such as temperament, if they've started crating her, etc. I just want some suggestions in other questions to ask them when Pickering her up, also I have plans on taking her to the vet a couple of days after getting her just to get a general check up done, I want to make a list of tests/things or the vet to check as well just to make sure I don't miss anything. I know I probably seem like I'm being really uptight about this process but jaces transition into our home wasn't the smoothest of transitions and I'm trying to make this one smoother! Thanks! :)

Obvious ones, right off the top of my head: Food currently being fed, what Vacs., if any have been given, ( Brand name / type is always helpful) and if she had any reaction to the Vacs., copies of Sire and Bitch papers and any health certifications they may have been given. Gotta be a million more, but not coming to me at the moment .

Congrats! So exciting! Your breeder will probably require you go to the vet 48 hours after taking Maggie home, just to make sure everything's good...this covers them legally. Depending on when the breeder last vaccinated, your vet might do another round of vaccines. Rosemary covered off on the important ones...the food brand and how she is currently eating it (dry, moistened, with a topper) is important and the vaccines and the exact date of each is very important. I asked about temprament and his energy level and also how he interacted with his sisters but that was more because I was curious in his personality (Finn was the only boy in the litter and I wanted a boy so I didn't pick him out based on temprament).

Maybe ask about her favorite toys and what food she's being fed as well as any commands they've started working on?

For the vet...I can't think of anything off hand.
