My puppy is lacking in fluff!

Hello All, this is my very first post, as I am new to the site! I've been enjoying looking at everyone's puppy pics and I can't help notice how fluffy and curly some doodle puppies are! Willow is 14 weeks old, and although her coat is not entirely straight (wavy, curly look to it), it seems to lack the fluff and thickness as some puppies have. I know there is a lot of discussion threads on coats and sizes. But I just had to put mine out there anyway ;) Anyone have experience with this coat type?

Check out my Bailey's pictures...She was the same way when she was a puppy..AND now!!!  Lots of fluff and flowing locks hehe!

My Gucci's coat sounds like you describe Willow's but she looks entirely different.  My baby's coat is super fine, and matted like crazy for the first few months, but that has ended now, and it is a little thicker.  Not nearly as thick as Guinness's, but much thicker than it was.  Willow is so cute!  She looks just like a golden!

Oh your pup is SO cute! Unlike Bailey, my pup never did get the "doodle" look and she is almost 2. There's a group on this sight for just these types of doodles called "Where's the poodle in my doodle?" LOL.

I may have to join! She has the narrow, slender look of a poodle, but a golden coat!

Your puppy is sooo cute. It's so hard to predict their coats. Enjoy the ride. You won't really know until Willow is about a year or more.
