So Racey has nasal mites. We are only on day 3, and I am totally over it.
Here's a link to a description of them

She got them at doggy day care. Let me just say I do not blame the day care at all. I know picking up infections at doggy day care/dog park/pet store/puppy school is a possibility. And the doggy day care she goes to I love.
The vet said she needs to be quarantined for a month. I'm sad because she is home alone Mon-Fri by herself, which is why she goes to doggy day care on Tuesday and depending on the week, Monday and Friday as well. We also have class at the local dog school Tuesday and Wednesday nights. We just started intro to dog sports last week, I'm sad she'll miss out on that class. Our yard isn't huge, but we normally take her to the dog park near our house, which most times we don't see more than one other dog at if any at all, but I'm not going to risk infecting other dogs, so Racey is just stuck at home. It totally stinks.
The day care owner seemed surprised when I said Racey would be out for a month. Has anyone else experienced this and how long was your dog quarantined?
Also, I know I'm paranoid, but I'm worried about bringing her back too soon if other dogs there have it and aren't being treated for it, she'll just get it again.
What does everyone else think about this?

Aww I feel bad for her! I have no advice as I have never even heard of nasal mites! But I hope she gets to go back to doggy daycare soon! Maybe the daycare should request other dogs to be checked as she obviously got it from someone else at the daycare! That could help prevent the daycare from becoming infested with these gross things!
