New goldendoodle

We picked up our new goldendoodle, Otto on Saturday. Things are going well. Reading discussions on this board has helped. Hubby insisted on the pup we went home with. He liked that he was the least curly/most retriever looking of the bunch. I'm hoping he's a wavy coat with the beard and doodle look even though he looks the least poodly from the litter. In this picture he is the one standing on the left. Any thoughts? Thanks! :)

he looks very fluffy and a bit fleecy so I bet he will doodle out. I didn't get a good look at his face but if he has the "chrysanthemum" on his snout and in between his eyes, it is an indicator that he will be doodley. my guy never had it and looks exactly like a golden retriever. he is adorable and I am sure you will be so happy with whatever coat he does end up having.

I think he is going to be wavy- I can see a little curl on the tips of his ears! VERY cute!!

Congrats! Oh yes, to me he looks like he will be very wavy. Our Lloyd looked similar but maybe even a little straighter.

My husband wanted a Golden Retriever (I think he has a fear of the foo-foo looking poodles), and I wanted less shedding, so we agreed on an F1 doodle. Lloyd ended up looking like a wavy retriever with very soft fur, beard, and eyebrows. Not much facial furnishings around the eyes and he does not have a fluffy crown. His shedding was crazy the first year and then it suddenly calmed down to barely anything. Who knows, could be seasonal but I'll take it!

I'm sure Otto will be super adorable! Enjoy!

So far not much shedding even when brushed. When does shedding start if it's going to?

I think he will look very much like a doodle.  He has that chrysanthemum and when I zoomed in it even looked like it might have been trimmed to keep out of his eyes.  He also has curl on his ears (wave it if you prefer to call it that) which often indicates a more doodle - looking coat.  He is just adorable.
