Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Remmy, our 12 week old Miniature Goldendoodle, has been wonderful (knock on wood). He's sleeping in the crate without issue, has learned a few tricks, and generally been as good as we can imagine. One thing we have noticed, however, is that if he has not been outside in awhile (like when we have to crate him while at work) he tends to "excited pee" whenever someone comes home. It's not a lot, just a sprinkle here and there, but pee nonetheless. Is this something that is normal? Is there something that we can do to help curb this, or does it go away with age? Has anyone else experience this, and is there anything we can do? I'm assuming it just gets better with age as his bladder control gets better.
Thanks in advance!

Our lab, Jake, did the same thing when he was little...we'd be ready with the paper towels when anyone came over...
One day, my friend stopped by with nice shoes on...I gave her my rubber garden shoes before she went outside to see the puppy...sure enough, he peed all over them...it goes away with age :)
Remmy is adorable !
Yep! Chopper did the same thing. He eventually grew out of it. He is still gets very excited when anyone comes over though, even if a family member leaves and comes back 5 mins later. /:)
