Pooping in kennel...

Hey everyone!!  This is Harper. She is 9wks old. We've had her for a week now. She has been doing well in her kennel at night other than she is pooping at night in there now. I can make her kennel smaller, but I was wondering if I should just put her food bowl up at night.  Any suggestions??

ok...took her out at 9;30...accomplished both...we'll see what happens...we've been training her to ring a sleigh bell on the door when she has to go out. Did it all day today...maybe today will be a breakthrough..

Kandy, I fed the dogs 3 times a day until they were 6 months old. Morning feeding around 7, feeding at noon and then the final feeding was between 5:30 and 6. They got a little over a cup all day. Whatever the amt they were to get aday, I divided by 3. That was all the dry food they got in a day. They got chew toys and some treats during the day but only chew toys after six. I used the chart on bag that had what amount to feed them according to the dog's weight.

Good luck tonight! Hopefully, clean crate in the AM! We've been doing the bells on the door too. lOL...we have created a monster. She not only rings the bells when she needs out, but whenever she just wants out to play! Guess I shouldn't complain.
