My 6 month old goldendoodle is doing well with her housebreaking. She politely taps me twice with her nose when she needs to go out. BUT... should she go poop inside, she will eat it to hide the evidence. I will then smell it or see some left behind.
Obviously, this is quite distressing. Any tips on this one?
I've also heard that one reason dogs eat their poop is because of malnourishment. What food are you feeding your pup? Many major brand dog foods are not nutritious and perhaps your dog is lacking nutrients that he/she needs to grow. Just a thought....
