Puppy Names Poster (and photo of puppy pile)

Our family of five wants to vote on puppy names, so we made a fun poster with the best names we have so far!  Actually, my kids made posters too, but I'm just showing you mine.  It's a great activity =)  We do not know if we will have a boy or girl yet, so that makes it tricky to narrow down.  Likely we will have a boy (5 boys and 3 girls in the litter, and we are 7th pick).  We have also written in a few more names, including Patches and Mocha.

Name is final! Meet Miss Molly Rose, pictured at 6 weeks old (my profile pic--sorry, on iPad). She is officially ours! We are so excited to have her arrive home on May 10, Mother's Day weekend. It has been a long time since we had a puppy (and we expect a lot of work), but look forward to the adventure :). Molly has been a favorite for a while (I loved Molly in the book "A Dog's Journey") and my oldest son loves Rose as a middle name. We had just cut roses from the yard and placed them in a vase on the kitchen table when we checked our email to find the news. So Molly Rose fits very well.

I love her and her name is just great. I am trying to figure out how she is related to my Lily Grace. Let me see, Lily Grace is Molly Rose's fathers sister from another litter so that makes Lily Grace her aunt from a different litter and Mother (sweet Della). LOL. I am so very excited for you. I love those puppies.

I love that Molly is related to Lily Grace :). It will be so wonderful to snuggle her at long last -- I'm sure she will be tired out after the journey, ready to snooze on our chests. We have everything we need set up and now we just pray for good weather on gotcha day!
