What shampoo does everyone use for their puppy? I don't bathe Annabelle that much, just every 3 or 4 weeks. I don't want to strip her natural oils and have her develop a skin condition. So when I do bathe her I want it to be with a good shampoo for puppies. I used an organic baby shampoo the 2 times I did, but not sure if that is a good idea. Thanks for any input.

We use TropiClean.....Love Kava scent!  And the scent lasts forever!  Haven't washed Enzo in about 2 weeks and the other day, a girl, hugging on her, commented how soft and great she smelled.  Found the best prices on Amazon.

I use Wen on my hair and love the feel of my hair after....Wen now makes a pet line. I used it on Sherlock and oh my goodness, what Wen does to doodle curls...and he smells like maple syrup..... love, love, love..

I use wen on my hair also, didn't know they make a pet line! I'm going to look into it!

Thanks for the replies.  They both sound good.

I use TrueBlue Pure & Sure Puppy Shampoo with Moisture Rich Dog Conditioning Crème. The  conditioner really makes her hair super soft. http://www.chewy.com/dog/trueblue-pet-products-pure-sure/dp/108252

I use Tropiclean Kava. It is BY FAR my favorite I have tried. It is a 2-1 (which if you keep her fluffy, you will greatly appreciate), it is soap-free so it doesn't dry out their skin or hair, and it smells wonderful without leaving the dog smelling strongly of perfume. I have raved about it in many discussions. Try typing "shampoo recommendations" into the search bar at the top right and you will find many previous discussions that should be helpful to you. :)

I recently tested out the Cloudstar Buddy Wash. I adore the scent, it lathers well, and rinses easily, but it left Ragley's coat much more dry and lackluster than the Tropiclean. I will probably use it as a pre-grooming shampoo, but not as my go-to maintenance wash.

I think I put puppy shampoo into the search and came up with nothing specifically for puppies. But if regular dog shampoo is fine for little puppies then yes, I did find more discussions. I just wasn't sure what people were using on puppies. Thanks

I would just make sure it is soapless so that it does not burn her eyes as she is learning to love bath time.

I've used the earthbath puppy, tropiclean berry clean, cloudstar buddy wash (the purple bottle) and in a pinch the avoderm puppy. Personally, I liked them all except for the avoderm. Individually, earthbath didn't lather as well as the tropiclean or the cloudstar. The earthbath puppy also has the exact same scent as the tropiclean berry clean. The cloudstar smelled nice, but overall I wasn't as satisfied with the shampoo (LOVED the conditioner) and the buddy spray is irreplaceable in our house**. Recently I've bought some of the tropiclean spa products and I really like the facial cleanser and the whitening shampoo (if you have a white or parti doodle).

I'm very excited to try the tropiclean kava based on everyone recommending it. I ordered it and my regular berry clean tropiclean from chewy.com and they're being delivered tomorrow, I also always use conditioner. It really helps with keeping their coat tangle free. I SWEAR by it.

Thanks everyone. I now have an idea on what to try. I did see discussions for dog shampoo in general, but nothing on puppies specifically. With her long shaggy hair, she doesn't smell clean for long using the unscented baby shampoo. I also wasn't sure about using conditioner, but I guess I will try that too. Thanks again everyone.

I use Aroma Paws Coconut Papaya.  There's a nifty kit that includes several items (but not trial size) if you want to try it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004TA9L34/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o...

Thanks, it sounds like it would smell good.
