Guys how much should an 8 week old sleep? Mine plays for 5 minutes and crashes for a while. Is this normal?

Very. LOL... Be careful what you wish for! ;). As she/he ages, those naps times will become shorter, with more " play" time in between. Enjoy!

Yup- very normal! 3-4 weeks from now, you are going to be hoping/praying that your pup will take a nap.... :-)

Our labradoodle has been a good sleeper which is good for me.  Our latest pup plays hard then sleeps.  For some reason at night seems like all dogs go crazy - zooming around and stealing laundry.  Recently my grandkids stayed the night and I warned them to put everything up.  I didn't think I had to warn my older son about his shoes.

Oh no!!! Poor shoes!!!! Thanks for all your responses!!! Been a while since I had a puppy... Just forgot what was normal. When mine sleeps its like he's in a 2-3 hour coma!!!
