Puppy throwing up

Anyone have up puppy that throws up in the morning? Our 4 month old throws up water and most recently yellow bile in am. We thought he was drinking water too fast and bought a special bowl but now he throws up even if he hasn't had water. Any suggestions? He is healthy otherwise and ahas a great appetite.

Rook had the same problem. Feeding later at night helps, so there's not as much time with an empty stomach. Our vet also had us start giving her Pepcid in the morning (half a pill, though she's a mini.) This has pretty much solved the problem. A specialist I spoke to said it sounds like bilious vomiting syndrome.

Our doodle did that too now and then from about the time he was 6 mos. to a yr.  We started giving him a little bit of food before we went to bed and that seemed to help.  He must have outgrown it because he has not had any episodes in the last 4 months.  He is now 1.5 yrs.

Mindy will do that on occasion, and yeah, it all has to do with how long her stomach's been empty. The later she lets us sleep in and the later she eats her breakfast, the more likely she is to get sick.
