Recovering from Spay Surgery

Well Maizey is recovering well from her spay surgery on Friday. Thought I'd share a cute photo...

Only question I have is... she had some yucky diahrea last night. I thought pups were supposed to be constipated from the pain meds and surgical procedure so I'm a little concerned that she's got the runs. Any thoughts?

Other than that, she's donig great just hanging with us on the couch!

Oh this picture is so adorable! I suppose they all respond a little differently to the anesthesia and meds. Murph gets "loose stools" whenever something happens that really stresses him out (like going to the groomer). Maybe it's the stress? I don't think I'd worry too much about it yet. Glad she's doing well otherwise.

Hi Gill...Maizey is so adorable!!
I think it might be the stress also...but I would recommend that you talk with your Vet to see what he/she has to say...
In the meantime...we'll be keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers...
