My doodle is cream with apricot ears. She is in the process of blowing her puppy coat. When I look at her hair, the roots are apricot, but the ends are cream. Does this mean that her adult coat will be more apricot in color? Thanks
I have no idea, but wanted to say............she is so adorable!!!

How do you know if your puppy is blowing her coat? I am not sure if my pup is, she just turned 5 months and she is starting to shed on my clothes, so I am hoping she is blowing her coat. Her fur is a lot curlier at the roots and straighter at the ends. When do they blow their coat anyways?
I wish I knew the answer to this. Lola is getting her first grooming today and the groomer told me she will be a cream color when she gets her adult coat! Ha, her papers say she is a red, but right now she really looks apricot. She has cream on her nose and her roots are a little lighter, but it is still all puppy coat so who knows?
My dog charlie's hair did that, and it looks awesome with the white tips, he ended up staying more red through the back, and ears, and lighter on the legs.. we ended up getting his puppy coat shaved off for the Summer, and now hes much darker.
