I took my 4 month old pup to the vet today to complete his vaccinations. He has been very lethargic and is limping on his back left leg. Is this normal or should I take him back to the vet? He only wants to lay down and is keeping his back left leg bent.

Ohhhh poor pup. Which vaccine did he get today? I have read some vets will give anti inflamm or shot steroid as needed. You'd probably want to give them a call... Good luck!!

Poor little guy!  I would at least call the vet and describe the symptoms and see what they say.  Please keep us informed!

Yes, I would take him back in and let them check him out.  I just dealt with a epileptic golden retriever for 9 years and vaccinations were a big issue with the online group there.  It's always best to split up the shots/vaccinations as much as possible and, as they get older, have them titered before revaccinating to see if they still have enough  vaccine in their system to protect them before adding more.

Did the vaccine go in that leg by chance? Perhaps making tender?
As far as lethargy, I felt yogi seemed tired after vaccine.
I spoke to the vet office and they had me come back in. The vet believed he was just sore and he gave him another shot to ease the soreness. Poor baby has had 4 shots today! He seems to be doing better, but still very lethargic (which I don't blame him). The vet told me to come back, free of charge, if he doesn't improve in 24 hours. No discoloration, vomiting, or diarrhea. I think he'll be ok! Thanks for the advice and concern!
