My pups are 6 mo old now and they love their walks. Every evening I walk them between 7 and 8. The last week or so they have started acting afraid of noises or people and are very skiddish. Nothing happened that I know of and only I walk them... Kids on bikes, cars, motorcycles, people coughing, people walking... everything scares them. I have 2 young kids and we aren't a quiet household so I don't get it....
Is this normal behavior? They aren't small either. they both must be at least 50 lbs and Motta more like 60 lbs!!

Sounds like they've hit the 2nd fear period in their development. Is it possible to walk them one at a time a few times a week? Perhaps they wouldn't reinforce each other's fears that way. But if you walk calmly, confidently as if there is nothing to fear.
Yes, I can split them up and walk them one at a time. Motta is the one who's being wimpy. Miley is more of a barker than a runner. Motta ran from the doorbell last night!! (hehe)) Poor guy couldn't figure out what it was and it was me on the other side. (the garage door decided not to work) As soon as I got in the door and he saw it was me, he brought me his leash!! It really was very cute!

So this is somewhat normal? As I described it is happening more than just during our walks.
