Snuggle Puppy Question

It seems like a lot of you use a snuggle puppy.  I went ahead and order one for our puppy.  I have a question what are the cold and hot pads used for?  It seems like there is great sucess with this snuggle puppy.

Hi Alivia! First off, for new puppies, check out doggyloot.com for good deals. I just bought Admiral his second snuggle puppy from there last night. The heat pad is supposed to mimic a warm puppy buddy ... Like a litter ate! That's why they also have the beating heart :). Admiral loved his snuggle puppy as a crate pal when he first came home to us. We were lucky to have an awesome breeder who went ahead and had crate trained the litter early, so it wasn't ever an issue really, but it made us feel better leaving him alone at night when he had a "puppy buddy". Admiral is now almost 6mos old, and still loves his snuggle puppy, though he has managed to chew open his poor cheeks and we had to take him away from him. New one on the way!

Hey! I used a snuggle puppy with Ollie and he just absolutely loved it. It was his buddy for the first 6 months of his life :) I never used the hot or cool pads. Our first week or two I used the heartbeat effect, which I believe is why he could sleep through the night so soon. He would lay right on that snuggle puppy. After the batteries ran out in that little heart I didn't replace them, but he didn't need that effect anymore. He would just lay on the snuggle puppy :) I hope this helps!
