Squirrel!!

Hi everyone, Sophie Bear here. Funny thing, I was out walking my mom today, and I saw a bunch of cute scurrying little creatures with big fluffy tails running around. Mom says they're called squirrels. They sure are neat. The thing is, my mom doesn't seem to like it when I pull on the leash and bark at them, but I can't help myself. I just want to get one so bad. What's a little doodle like me supposed to do? My mom says it's cute now, but if I keep this up pretty soon she won't be able to keep me under control cause I'll be big and strong (I can't wait to bigger and stronger than mom!). Mom was wondering what she should do to help me stay calm and get used to squirrels since they seem to be everywhere in the spring and summer. If you have any advice for her that would be great, since as much as I love those squirrels, I really don't want mom to be frustrated with me when I get so crazy.

Teddy loves squirrels too and now has this bad habit of looking out the window for them all the time! then barking loudly and the squirrels could care less! They just go about their business and I get frustrated at all the noise! so I too want to know what to do about squirrels and you doodles!

OMgosh! You are one totally cute puppy!   Love your raincoat too!  Maybe  try to give some treats while walking and not barking? I usually have  treats on hand on the walking trail to redirect & praise my pups so they don't bark at bikers coming ahead.   No squirrels around our neighborhood yet- which is strange-
