The best five dollars I ever spent ... this toy holds one cup of Miss Beasley's food , I feed her one cup in her dish and the other cup in this ball, ( pic's posted ) it keeps her busy for about a hour rolling it and letting the food fall out !!! I was wondering if anyone else could share toys that are worth there money to buy ~ two weeks ago I paid nine dollars for a ball and Miss Bea chewed it up in lest than ten minutes ...

Bentley has the same ball and prefers to eat out of that than his bowl! I also put his food in this http://www.kongcompany.com/products/for-dogs/interactive/genius/gen.... It's a little more difficult to get the food out. He drops it hard to get the food out (I do have to help sometimes.) I also put PB or low fat cream cheese in this kong

I got that ball for Max and he doesn't like it. :(
I did get the starmart everlasting treat ball (think that's what it's called) and he loves that one.
Also he adores his kongs. I make up a mixture of salmon, plain lactose free yogurt, pumpkin and frozen peas and carrots. I fill the kongs at night (two of them) and then freeze them, and then give them to him at some point during the day. He goes nuts for the kongs.
I also have the Kyjen Dog Games Star Spinner Treat Toy which Max likes but it's kind of easy for him. I would love to get him some more food puzzle toys though.
I bought that star spinner and had to return it. Bentley couldn't get the food out - I don't know it it was too narrow for him or if he was a little afraid of it?
We have the star spinner too. It works well when we leave for work and leave kibble around the house leading her to the star spinner - she loves interacting with it.
I filled kongs with a combo of oatmeal, some peanut butter, yogurt and chicken broth and freeze - she LOVES those. Keeps her busy for a good 30 minutes.
i will be doing this also ...thanks so much for the doodle ideas !!!
What a great idea. I'm writing your mixture down.
Maybe he was afraid of it? Max is a pretty big boy, he uses his tongue lol
BY FAR - the best bang for the buck for us has been: http://www.amazon.com/Kyjen-PP02290-Exercise-Training-Replacement/d...
Kyjen tail chaser. It has expended sooo much energy and Zoe still loves to play with it. It is an interactive toy though - you must engage with this one.
West Paw Design toys...the ones made of Zogoflex. Can be found on Google......west paw design zogoflex.
