Watching another dog over Christmas

Willson loves being with other dogs so I am sure it will be okay, but this will be the first time we will have another dog for a full week, its a female (willson's friends are females) I guess I am concerned on how he will react every morning seeing Lucy who is a King Charles Cocker Spaniel..
