Water Bowl Mania

I am SURE others have this problem...Peri has started attacking the water bowl. INSIDE the house! She will go at it and swat the heck out of the water and it gets everywhere. I am getting frustrated because it gets on the hardwoods and I have to watch her like a hawk while she drinks water.

Is this her poodle coming out? My best friend has a poodle mix and she does the same thing.

Any tips to break this habit would be greatly appreciated!

Charlie does not swat the water, but stick her nose in it and blow bubbles like she is bobbing apples or something.
