What kinds of food?

There are so many puppy foods out there! Anyone have suggestions? We lost our previous dog to cancer so we are completely paranoid now. California Natural, Innova Evo, Canidae, Natual Balance, Taste if the Wild, Merrick, First Mate, Blue Buffalo... How does one choose?

We feed our puppy California Natural and are very happy with it. I'm not sure how it compares to other organic dog foods, however. Our vet recommended this brand.

All are good choices. We feed Innova, but Chicken soup for the Dog Lover's Soul is high quality kibble but lower price...............we might be switching to save on our budget:)

I was home with a sick child one day and ran through the ingredients of about a dozen puppy foods (we are expecting our Doodle on Thursday!!!) Blue Buffalo came out on top and it is what we will be switching our new puppy to after she adjusts to her new home setting. Hope this helps!
