Where do you take your puppy?

I was wondering if you take your puppy out and about with you. Where you take him/her and how old they are. Do they travel in a crate, strapped in or free surfin' in the car.

I want to get Hershey used to car travel and socializing but he's such a "Pac-man" everywhere he goes. I am just wondering how you all handle it. :-D

I have a car seat for Peri. She is 14 weeks and we go to a few houses of friends and family that have dogs (I know they are vaccinated), which helps with her socialization. My vet told me to wait until 16 weeks before taking her to pet stores, parks or on walks around the neighborhood. Maybe he is more paranoid than others! Only 2 weeks until we are FREE!

Yep, I wish we could take her everywhere, but I guess Nashville is a bad place for Parvo. A friend's puppy just died from it and my vet told me to wait due to a high number of cases around here. Also, I live on a major greenway, that is basically a huge dog area. So I am limited. you are lucky Jordan! I am now down to only 12 days until walks. ha!
