Charlie (4.5 months) has really lost his appetite....
It started yesterday morning and he left a tiny amount of kibble in his bowl
Today, I try feeding him 1.25 cups of Fromm Puppy Gold at 7:30am and he only had a few bites. I ended up throwing most of the food away because I put it under water and it would just get gross.
So I try feeding him at 10:15am. This time I added a little bit of pumpkin and water. He still only has a few bites. What the heck?
He did have major diarrhea this morning after I fed him the first time. So I thought maybe he just had an upset tummy and didn't want to eat?
I took him to the vet yesterday for several things (including getting checked for a UTI) and nothing was wrong. He is also acting tired today (he's been super tired since he got back from a new daycare facility 2 days ago...another reason why I took him to the vet).

I've been running around all day with Charlie's first swim lesson and dropping him off for a play date with another dog that I haven't looked at these messages. I wish I had because I did give him dinner because of all the energy he used at his swim lesson. I guess tomorrow morning he will be okay to go without breakfast? He has had diarrhea all day. And I'm sure with him being in the pool, that didn't help with the issue. But I mix in pumpkin to his food (ever since I got him I have done that) but it's not really helping right now.
I took him to the vet yesterday because he didn't seem to be acting normal (he was pretty lethargic and had heavy panting - I thought it was something that I had happened at daycareon Thursday). But the vet determined he probably had a bad reaction to a treat I gave him (Sams Yams Sweet Potato chips). He never had it before but once he did, he started acting funny.
I also gave him a dewormer a few days ago because I found worms in his stool several days ago. So I bet with the new treats, dewormer, and pool water, his tummy is not doing good. I feel awful for him.
Stupid question but since I'm not a cook...when you say boiled chicken, do I just cook it like usual? Sorry that is such an ignorant question but is there a good recipe you can provide on how to properly prepare the chicken?
