Today at six weeks, any thoughts on open face vs furnishings?

 I really can't tell, Christyn.  Hopefully someone with a similarly coated but older doodle, can give you the benefit of their experience.

We got our Kate at 17 weeks and she had some facial hair, tail, and her back was starting to get wavy. She ended up with loosely curled hair. She sheds but not bad. The worst shedding is when they shed the puppy coat. We ended up having her clipped so burrs and sticky seeds don't end up on me. Live guessing how doodles will look.

Bentley on the right at 7 weeks:). Looking very open faced but with some nice eyebrows and lashes:). Such a sweet boy! Sister Willow on the left was the only curly pup in the litter, the other two pups aside from Bentley were shaggy/wavy

Hi!

Teddy looked similar to Bentley at that age. Definitely more retriever in him than poodle, it seems. He's recently gotten a wavy-ish stripe down his back which I read happens to a lot of doodles when they're shedding their baby coat. He's only four months, so we are in the same boat as to wondering what his adult coat will look like, but I figured I'd share pictures with you so that you can see how his furnishings have grown. Some dogs end up being late bloomers.
