Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi! This is Charlie, and he's a mini f1b goldendoodle. His dad is a miniature poodle, and his mom is a 30 pound f1 goldendoodle. However, his mom has the retriever look and you would never know by looking at her that she has any poodle in her. So far, charlie is 14 1/2 weeks old and he weighs 15.5 pounds. His weight range is supposed to be 20-25 pounds, but I think he'll for sure be 30-40. What do you guys think? Does anybody have a doodle with this coloring as a puppy, and a pic of what they look like now? Do you think his fur will stay shaggy/waivy, fleece-like as it is not? Thanks for the input!

Thank you so much!! :) I've definitely gotten so lucky with him! He's got a big weekend coming up- he's taking his therapy dog test tomorrow morning, and his CGC test on Tuesday!! Wish us luck!! He actually took his therapy dog test the last time they offered the test in early June, but they failed him... although he 100% should have passed. He passed EVERY single station with flying colors, but in between stations, he jumped up on the test giver while she was explaining the next step to me. She was moving her clipboard up and down and he thought she was playing with him. He only jumped twice, and never during the testing. I believe they failed him because of his age (he was the exact minimum age able to test- 12 months. they've never had a1 year old dog pass). My friend tested the same day and passed- even though her doodle jumped..... A few people have to decide if a dog passes or fails- they had to debate because they couldn't decide. Ugh! At least I know what to expect this time around! Sorry I just wrote a novel haha!!
Good luck with his test. The good thing about waiting is that he is more mature. He might have passed before, but he might not have enjoyed the 'work' as much as he might now.
