we are so excited to welcome our new F1b mini goldendoodle in a few weeks!  Here is a picture when he was just over 4 weeks.  Can anyone tell at this age what his coat my look like?  He seems more straight than some of his litter mates.  I am hoping he doodles out but we love him either way!

They change so much even between 4 weeks and 8 weeks so at this point it is a little hard to guess but his color is beautiful.  Id bet he will doodle out nicely.

What a gorgeous color!  4 weeks is just too early for me to guess other than that I think he’ll look like a fluffy doodle.

I'd wager he'll doodle out as the others have said.  I love the colour :)

For comparison here's our smooth-coated F1 goldendoodle Luna at 4 weeks.  You can see she was lacking the "fluff" between the eyes that your new redhead has.

Here is an updated picture at 6 weeks.  He is definitely straighter than some of his siblings but I’m hoping he will have the doodle face!  Love him to death and can’t wait to pick him up!

anyone have a puppy that looks similar to him?

Cute!  I bet he will be super fluffy with a nice wave.

Our Riley is a bernedoodle but here are some comparison pics with her at 7 weeks and now (16 weeks).  She looked less fluffy than your little guy and is a giant fluffmonster now, so I bet yours will have more wavy hair.

Oh my goodness Riley is so cute!  Loveher fluffy coat and color!  Thanks for responding!

Hi Kate! Your pup is adorable!! We have a similar little guy. He’s a red multi-gen. He was in a littler of 10 and they had varying coats. Some were very curly. Oliver was smooth. Here are his baby pics and a current one at 6 mos.

Thanks for all the responses.  Just in case anyone wants to compare to their puppy here is a photo from a couple weeks ago probably 15 weeks old.
