Gus Doodle -- Will he keep his cowlicks?

[From Pup to Adult]

Hi everyone! I have my first Goldendoodle and what a fun guy he is! He is an F1 with a Black Standard Poodle mom and a half Golden Retriever/half English Cream dad. When we picked him he had long fuzzy hair with a slight wave. At thirteen weeks he got his first haircut and we discovered he is covered in cowlicks! His coat is beautiful and as of right now doesn’t shed. I can’t wait to watch the changes in him, especially how big he gets as his parents were in the 70 pound range! Do you think he'll keep the cowlicks? I assumed he would but some are telling me he'll lose them when he sheds his puppy coat?

I think he will keep them! :-)  The fuzzy stuff will probably go away when he sheds his puppy coat, but the waves underneath will remain. Cutie!!

I would love to see what Gus looks like now, since he looks a lot like the puppy stage of my dog,  who will be arriving tomorrow morning! It's hard to know just how they develop...Please post another sweet picture.
