a good weight?

My 12 mo old male ALD is 19in to his withers, and weight is 34 lbs. My trainer thinks he's the perfect weight, my doggie day care thinks he's too skinny. He's healthy, has a lot of energy, he eats well, and does not act ravenous. Opinions? Will be seeing vet soon for her opinion.
