Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

My doodle and I just relocated from San Diego to San Francisco. Bella had a great groomer in San Diego so I am a little nervous about trying somewhere new. Does anyone have any recommendations for good doodle groomers in the Bay Area? I would be willing to drive out of the city for it if the groomer was extra special!

We live on the Peninsula and have used Fancy Feet in Belmont.  They do a lot of labradoodles.  Just recently we have found another groomer that we like very much at the "DawgHouse" in San Carlos.  Her name is Meg and she does a wonderful job on Ozzie.

Beth, Welcome to the Bay area!!!! Hope t meet you and Bella at a romp.

Jess at Groomingdales in Burlingame does Lucca and she'll be grooming Izzy too. I have photos on my page of Lucca's haircuts. In fact he is going in today for a bath and blow dry to get all fluffed up and smelling nice for the Holidays. Right now he stinks....too much fun in the rain and puddles lately!!!

Hi, I got to Bow Wow Meow in SF on Polk Street.  The owner of the store has a labradoodle so the groomer there is quite good at grooming them  His name is Javier.  My mini costs about $70 for a wash, haircut, nails and ears.

Kooper goes to The Dog Spa on West Portal. Jenny is the best. Make sure that she is the one to do the grooming.

He also goes to Groom on Clement Street. Nona is awesome. Kooper loves her. Make sure you bring in a photo of what you want... sometimes he comes out looking too much like a poodle.

Welcome to the city. Hope you're surviving the weather up here compared to the perfect setting of San Diego.

Have you been to Ft. Funston yet? Let me know if you need any recs on different dogs parks here in the city. There's tons of them.

We use Curbside cuts. They come to your home in a van so your dog doesn't have to stay at the groomers all day long. She comes even if we're not home. Michele is the owner and she seems very nice and she does an excellent job.
Thank you to everyone for your suggestions! I am happy to hear that many of your doodles have good experiences. Bella and I are looking forward to meeting you all at doodle romps at Chrissy Field and Fort Funston.
We live on the Peninsula and go to Fancy Feet in Belmont too!  They are really great and the pricing is very fair.  Plus, they do not use cages and our doodle loves to play!  We have also tried the Dawg House and prefer Fancy Feet for grooming.  We do use the Dawg House for self (me) bathing of our Goldendoodle.
Have you tried Marzana, the groomer, at DawgHouse?  She does the best job on Ozzie I have ever seen!  We did go to Fancy Feet in Belmont but recently they have become a bit rushed and Ozzie came home needing some repair work.  I think they have become so busy that's it's hard to accomodate everyone.  However I do like them very much and they are very good to the dogs, which is a major plus as far as I am concerned.
