Ozzy is turning into a brat.Help.

As dogs age do they get grumpy like some people do?I don't know if its Dakota my puppy thats making him grumpy or if he is just getting old and cranky.Dakota bugs him a lot and they are always trying to out alpha each other.These days Ozzy is marking every where,even in the house.Pet stores too.He has even become food posessive.I will give him a treat and then try to pet him.He then growls and tries to bite me.He never done any of these things before i got Dakota.Is it because of Dakota or old age??I always eat first,make them earn everything,no people food or food from the table.I even make them earn there toys.Ect,ect.

I am wondering if Ozzy has been like this ever since Dakota was a little puppy? It may be a multi dogs issues......Butter and Charlie never played together, and they still don't. Butter seems to felt as Charlie was an annoying puppy who wanted to play and jump around... He was already 14  when she came so, I understand that he did not want to be bothered with a puppy....He did growled at her in the beginning and let her know her place. Til this day, if her favorite ball or toys ends up right next Butter's body, she will not get it. She will bark at us and ask us to get it for her, it's funny. She does not want to upset him. ( He won't do anything to her though, so I am not sure why she seems so concerned about that.) I wonder their body size has anything to do with that or not, since Ozzy is much smaller than Dakota?
