It was fun until a Border Collie decided Ned was a furry sheep. However he didn't try to herd him like he should have, he tried to eat him for lunch! Ned was fine - yelped like the drama queen he is. However he got rolled in poop so - not fun.
The Border Collie event was at the end and we left. Boxer chase was towards the end. It was actually pretty funny. The Boxer came to the 'doodle area' only to be barked at and chased off my Ned with the others trailing along. The poor Boxer would came back only to be barked at and chased by Ned again and again. I have no idea why that dog was excluded from doodledom but he definitely was.

I guess Ned decided no more outsiders that day since that last one rolled him! :) A couple weeks ago at the Laguna Beach dog park four young men came down the mountain on their bikes, climbed over the fence into the park and decided to ride their bikes to the exit. Several big dogs in the park surrounded them barking and letting them know in no uncertain terms that they were not welcome! The dogs were not being vicious, just barking and being very intimidating escorts. It was pretty funny and those young men looked baffled and concerned. I'll bet they don't do that again!
