Doodle Rescue Needs Volunteers in So Cal!

DRC is desperately in need of volunteers in Southern California. There are doodles in kill shelters as well as doodles whose owners have applied to rehome them, all waiting to be saved. The greatest need is for foster homes, but we also need people who can help with pulling from shelters and with transport, so even if you can't foster, maybe you can help save a life just by driving. Please, please, consider volunteering with DRC.

Lots of shelters in OC.  The dogs just rescued have been in Pomona and in Carson.  I am in Riverside and Terri is in San Diego so traveling to either OC or LA is quite  trip, especially if we need to be there at opening.

Southern California people.  Reminder, there is a romp at Arbor Dog Park in Seal Beach on Sunday.  I'll be there introducing Charlie - DRC re-home in June.  He is not available for adoption cuz I kept him.  If you are going to be there and have questions about volunteering, please see me.

Hello Everyone

My name is Melissa and my furry baby "Kona" a 6 month old golden doodle from Tropico Kennels.  I would love to help out in anyway possible.  I do go to shelters in LA County A LOT, I take pictures of the flyers with lost and found dogs and post them on a very active Facebook lost and found site, and of course I stroll the kennels.  I can also help in transporting.  I have been a RN in a NICU at LAC+USC where I adopted two of my one pound patients who were born drug addicted, and they are now 21 year old beautiful young ladies, when the girls were 10 mother nature played a silly trick on my as a 42 year old lady, I got blessed with a biological daughter who is now 12.
