San Diego Padres and Doodles!

Hey Southern Ca Doodles.....interested in attending the SD Padres DogDaysOfSummer baseball game/outing at Petco Park? Last year Jolene, Kiristie, Stu and I went and had a blast! But you must submit an application. 500 dogs allowed ( there was no where near that # that we saw). Your application gets 2 free tickets and 1 dog ticket. Love that ballpark. Where do they sit? Park in the ballpark (grass section)? We might be going :)

We will be allowed on the grass and in the bleachers...but not in the sandpit. I was pleasantly surprised how well organized it was last year. Lots of vendors giving out freebies. But there are no walk-ups, so remember to fill out an application by April 30.

Hi Ro, I remember talking to you about this last year and I so wanted to go! But we have had a change of plans. We are moving to Hawaii next month! I also wanted to attend one more doodle romp but it looks like that isn't going to work out either. I guess we'll have to keep in touch on DK! Jaxson will miss Enzo!

Hi Ro, Yes, it is exciting! I love San Diego too. If we don't retire in Hawaii, we'd consider retiring in/near San Diego! Not on FB but may need to consider it now that I'll be further away from friends. But I will be on DK for sure!

Will think of you guys at the Padres game! Funny, you get 1 free dog ticket. When we took Jaxson to the Dodgers last year, his dog ticket cost as much as ours!

Wow! We never ever pay for Enzo! Free for us all the first game.....and then the next 2 or 3 games, that include the pooches, the dogs are free to get in.

Leave it to the Dodgers. Jaxson's ticket was the same price as ours. And ours included food because it's in the All You Can Eat section in the outfield! He did get some free stuff though - like a collapsible water bowl, bandana and some other goodies. I guess they figure the dog takes up a normally revenue generating seat! Wish we could join you!
