This really is interesting.  It amazes me how often kids seem to have strep infections.  My grandkids have two to three episodes each Winter, and it seems to be very common in Daycare Centers and the younger grammar school grades.  I worry about all the antibiotics that they are taking.  I wonder why is seems to be on the rise...

I'm not sure it is but it is important to treat. You hardly hear about rheumatic fever, or scarlet fever anymore or other strep related seqeulae.
